Darryl Montana, Mardi Gras Indian

Mardi Gras Indian Darryl Montana demonstrates beading at the 1997 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

Darryl received an Artist Fellowship in Folklife from the Louisiana Division of the Arts in 2005. His father, Allison "Tootie" Montana received this award twice, in 2003 and 1985, and received a National Heritage Award from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1987.
